Moonscapes

Of all the pictures on this website, none were more difficult to get than the night shots. It wasn't just that it was cold and dark (although I could have done without that), but because of the high contrast nature of the subject: Balls of light amidst the darkness. Trying to get the exposure right without resorting to the digital lab is virtually impossible. Hence, the best picture of the moon is a daytime shot when the contrast is less. All of the pictures on this page are raw, unenhanced images.
